Safeco uses recycled polyester, cotton and polycotton yarns in its jacquard fabrics, manufactured in our "Tissages Safadi Rhôdaniens" weaving plant located in the Isere dept., France.
 
Cotton yarns: The cotton yarns have been recycled from other post-consumer and pre-consumer cotton fabrics, that is, ready-made garments and also from scraps discarded before confection, to produce new yarns of cotton with properties identical to the virgin fibers.
 
Polyester yarns: On the other hand, as regards the recycled polyester and polycotton yarns, its origin is the recycling of PET plastic bottles, water bottles from supermarkets, etc., which end many of them flooding the seas and oceans and that through recycling helps to protect the environment and sustainability.
 
Each roll of our fabrics made with these recycled fibers carry the Ecolife label and are certified "Global Recycled Standard (GRS) 4.0" by the quality control company "Control Union Certifications B.V." from the Netherlands.
